Small Island Beaches around Phuket

Phuket is one of Thailand's most renowned islands with its white sandy beaches, exotic palm trees lined landscaping, and rocky shores that are perfect for scuba diving.

However, not many people know or realize that Phuket is surrounded by an extraordinary number of small island beaches too. Scattered all around its coasts! From tiny boulder clusters forward to much larger inhabitable land pieces, all have one thing in common: picturesque tropical beaches.

There are, indeed, some of these small islands, such as Koh Phi Phi and Similan, that have become quite popular within the tourist industry over the last few years. Nevertheless, there are still quite a few that are virtually deserted and relatively undeveloped. Therefore, these islands are the perfect place to escape the crowds while staying within that sought and elusive exotic atmosphere.

Of course, there are those few rare islands that are utterly unspoiled by man. The ones you can only reach with some special kind of boats. Islands where the only type of accommodation available will be either huts or tents. These are generally the ones with the best small island beaches, where the water is crystal clear, and the white sand feels almost like powder.
