It’s easy to find cuisine from around the world in Phuket. This is one indication of just how international Phuket Island is as a destination.

Fine Italian restaurants can be found in Patong, and Phuket Town as well as a number of easy-to-reach locations across the island. Results of internet search show more than forty restaurants serving Italian food in Phuket, with most of them specializing in only Italian cuisine.

Of course, you can find German, Indian, French, Arabian, Mexican, Mediterranean, seafood, steakhouses, beef barbecue, bread cafes, Korean restaurants and BBQs, Japanese buffets and restaurants, and there is even a Vietnamese restaurant just east of Phuket Town.

It is common for high-end hotels, resorts and villas to serve a variety of ethnic cuisine like Italian, seafood, and Thai on the same menu. If you’re a big breakfast eater, just about every hotel on the island serves their own version of an American breakfast, and has Thai food options like 'gwit diao' and 'kow men gai' as well.

Most restaurants from around the world in Phuket can be found in Patong Beach along Beach Road (Thawewong), or on one of the 'soi' (small roads) close to the beach. If you happen to find yourself in Phuket Town instead, you may try visiting Central Festival Mall, they have a variety of restaurants serving food from around the world located on the first through third floors. Here you can also find all in one place, a selection of restaurant chains like Swensen’s, Sizzler, Pizza Company, KFC, McDonald’s, Mr. Donuts, Starbucks, Black Canyon Coffee, Dairy Queen, Haagen Dazs, Fuji and Sukishi Japanese, Duc De Praslin Belgium, and many more to choose from.
