Cape Panwa Beach Phuket is at the end of Cape Panwa, a small peninsula jutting out into the ocean just northeast of Promthep Cape – the southernmost point of the Island of Phuket.

Cape Panwa Beach isn’t a great swimming beach, wading beach, snorkeling or windsurfing beach. It’s basically just a nice escape from Phuket Town and development on the island. People who need a break from town will come down to have a long lunch at Cape Panwa Beach or maybe take a boat to one of the islands just off shore.

If you’re hungry while you’re at Panwa Beach, go over the hill to the other side of the peninsula and stop at the Panwa House restaurant, it gets fantastic reviews on social media. Views are very nice in the morning or evening, though you’re facing the wrong way for sunset. Alternately you might stop by to see Khao Kad Beach for sunset, or a cold drink. The beach is just a very short drive up Soi Ao Yon Khao khad to reach it.
