Thong Dee – The Kathu Brasserie

Thong Dee – The Kathu Brasserie  – is located just a 10 min drive from Patong, on a quiet street in Kathu (the village can be found between Patong and Phuket Town). You will be offered a fine choice of international dishes as well as Thai specialties. The Thong Dee brasserie presents an extensive “A la Carte” menu with daily specials, as the aim is to serve the guests great food in a relaxed atmosphere with something to suit every occasions and pockets.

At Thong Dee brasserie, you can enjoy a memorable evening in a modern, warm and friendly ambiance with jazzy tunes playing in the back ground. The Thai waiters, including the owner, are fast, attentive and very helpful; as for the ambiance it all depends on where you sit, inside or outside. On the first floor there is also a small bar area with a pool table.

(Homemade Ravioli stuffed with Wild Mushrooms and Herbs, served with a Truffle sauce)

Fillet of Beef Stroganoff for ฿550
(Strips of Australian Tender Steak Sauté with Mushroom & Shallots merged with a delicate Paprika & Brandy sauce)
Ossobuco for ฿850
(Ossobuco Milanese, Australian Veal Shank with Saffron Risotto, topped with Gremolata)

Profiteroles with Chocolate Sauce for ฿160
(Small Choux Pastry Buns Filled with a Vanilla cream smothered in Chocolate sauce)
Rhubarb Cake for ฿180
(Savory Rhubarbs merged with Sponge Cake, served with Vanilla sauce)

All really good!

All dishes were cooked to perfection, nicely presented and tasted really yummy.
They also have a good wine selection (THB 600 Housewine – THB 4,200 Amarone).
