Yao Noi Island

Yao Noi Island, Phuket
Koh Yao Noi (little long island), is one of the two largest islands in Phang Nga Bay. The other one is its sister island, Koh Yao Yai. Yao Noi Island sits just 10 kilometers south of Phang Nga province, 28 kilometers directly east of Phuket International Airport. Additionally, this island is closer to the Nong Talay sub-district of Krabi Province, which is only 12 kilometers east. The island is shaped like a woman’s boot and is approximately 11 kilometers long and 3.5 kilometers wide. It is much bigger than both the Phi Phi islands, but half the size of the larger Koh Yao Yai.

Boats to Koh Yao Noi leave multiple times every day. Speed boats leave from Rassada Pier, near Koh Sirey on the east side of Phuket, and from Ao Chalong Pier. Furthermore, long-tail boats are also available in Chalong. To reach Rassada Pier from Patong Beach, travel on Highway 4029 over the mountain toward Phuket Town and then to Anuphas Phuket Karn Road down to Rassada Pier.
