Khai Nok Island

Khai Nok Island, Phuket
Koh Khai Nok is a rather small island in the Andaman Sea. It sits just about ten kilometers east of Koh Sirey and eight kilometers west of Yao Yai Island. It is part of a group of two islands also including Khai Nai Island, off Phuket Island eastern coast. Koh Khai Nok is just 200 meters long, and roughly in the shape of a seahorse.

You can make your way to the island from Pier Rassada, located east of Phuket Town. The speedboat trip from Phuket Island typically leaves in the morning and takes between thirty and forty minutes. Naturally, the length of time depends on how rough is the sea, which is worse between May and November. Usually, the tour boats spend time on both islands.

To get to Rassada Pier from Patong Beach, you need to take Highway 4029 over the mountain toward Phuket Town, and then Anuphas Phuket Karn Road down to Rassada Pier.
