Thai Boxing (Muay Thai): Thailand’s centuries-old martial arts technique has recently gained an international following, and Phuket is one of the best places to take up the sport.

Muay Thai training centers are plenty to be found in the city center as well as in Rawai, Kata, Chalong and many other smaller locations all over the island nowadays. For those who feel more comfortable outside the rink, a few local boxing stadiums hosts matches every Friday evening.
