Located five kilometres southwest of Patong Beach in Kathu District, this tropical mecca is one of the most popular and desired tourist spots on the island. Nestled between two large bouldery shores this one hundred and fifty meters long beach has an exquisite coral reef about one hundred meters out and a jet ski ban making this beach a calm and peaceful location. There is another smaller part of the beach accessible by foot path over the rocks that is just as beautiful and relaxing.

Paradise Beach is a privately owned beach so there is a small entry fee of 200 Thai Baht per person to gain access, however most don’t mind the fee as it ensures the beach is not over crowded and gives the feel of exclusivity. While there are no vendors on the beach, there is The Paradise Beach Club which offers a variety of sports and activities including body boarding, kayaking, snorkeling and volleyball as well as a selection of restaurants and souvenir shops where you can buy refreshments or choose from a selection of international cuisines.

Entrance to the Paradise Beach begins at around 9:30 am and included in your admission fee is the price of a sun lounger which is located outside the restaurant, giving you the opportunity to dine beachside. The beach club is also host to the ever popular and pleasing Phuket’s Half Moon/Full Moon Parties. For a slightly higher fee you get all day and night access to the beach ensuring you don’t leave this wonderful beach without experiencing all it has to offer.
