Nai Thon Beach

Nai Thon Beach is ideally located on the northwestern coast of Phuket Island and is only a short five minutes drive from the Bismarcks Paradise. Sparsely developed and surrounded by 300 meters high hills covered with a luxuriant jungle, the Nai Thon beach is one of the most peaceful and relaxing beach in Phuket. It happens to be our house beach and is the first beach south of Nai Yang Beach, which is another beach easily accessible and located nearby the Bismarcks Paradise.

Nai Thon Beach, a 900 meters long strip of white sand bordered by a row of maritime pines, provides welcoming shade. Good snorkeling can be enjoyed at both ends of Nai Thon Beach. The beach itself has great sand, clear water and is what we call a high season beach. We do not recommend to swim here in the low season, nor any other beach for that matter, and we advise you always look around for the possible red flags. Dangerous surfs can even occur during the high season but they are more prevalent in the low season from May to November.

The big surprise on this quiet beach is the easy availability of a great variety of tasty food, all day long and well into the night. Along Nai Thon beach road, ambulant vendors set their stalls up every day to provide beach-goers with snacks and refreshing drinks. Throughout the day, you can get fresh fruits like coconut and pineapple, treat yourself with barbecued chicken, fish or pork, and/or indulge in popular Thai dishes such as “kao-pad-gai” (fried rice with chicken), “kao-pad-gung” (fried rice with prawn) and “kao-pad-muu” (fried rice with porc). All these tasty snacks/dishes freshly prepared on the beach side of the road.

All in all, Nai Thon Beach is a very pleasant beach for those who wish to spend a serene tropical holiday in Phuket!
