Indeed Promthep Cape is one of the most popular and visited spots in all of Phuket Island. This little cape is also well known for its panoramic views of the neighboring Phi Phi and Koh Racha islands.

It is ripe with maritime artifacts and great perspectives of the east and southeast of Phuket’s enthralling landscape. Also outstanding is the elephant shrine, encircled by carved elephants of all shapes, and sizes, that you will find there. These artifacts are often brought by Thai visitors to honor Brahma, the Hindu god of creation. You are also welcome to light incense and make your offerings. Please, do remember to remove your shoes before entering the shrine!
