As mentioned above, Ice Arena Phuket is a newly built ice skating facility that provides visitors a chance to cool off while enjoying a sport that most locals have never had a chance to experience before. The double floor facility offers a large and well maintained ice rink, public skate times, figure skating and hockey coaching, ice skating lessons, rental shop, restaurant on the second floor, pro-shop as well as private event bookings and themed events open to the public. The price of rental skates is included in the fee and, for children who need assistance, a “penguin” can be rented to help them as they learn to find their balance on the ice. Public skate hours are from 10.00 until 19:45, seven days a week, and all ages and abilities are welcome.

The skating camps offered at Ice Arena Phuket include a figure skating camp with coach Anna Moskalenko who studied skating in Russia and was part of the Olympic reserve. She has been teaching single and pair skating to children aged 3-13 since 2008 and speaks both Russian and English. The other camp offered is the hockey camp taught by Mikhail Serkin, a former forward for the Nevskie Arrows and coach for the Russian Hockey Federation. He is passionate about the game of ice hockey and very eager to help the younger generation to be a part of the prestigious sport. For those who wish to learn skating or just improve upon their skills, there are also a wide range of trainers available for all ages and degree of ability. All coached activities are delivered in a fun and safe environment, and the team of trained staff are committed to helping everyone reach their goals and potential.

The pro-shop and Champions Restaurant are a nice addition to the facility. The restaurant is perched on the second floor overlooking the rink and offers everything from quick snack foods to more comprehensive dishes as well as hot and cold beverages. Whether as a spectator or a participant, it is an excellent place to sit and watch as the fun unwinds beneath you. The restaurant can also be booked for corporate or social events. The pro-shop is fully stocked with well known brand names and carries everything you need to gear up for skating whether it be hockey, figure skating or just plain old leisure.
