Koh Lipe

Koh Lipe, Satun
Koh Lipe is one of several islands about 53 kilometers off the coast of Satun Province in Thailand’s far south. As the bird flies, it is over 170 kilometers away from the closest point in Phuket. However, the best way to reach Koh Lipe is to drive down National Highway 4 through Trang province and into Satun Province.

Once there, you can easily book a tour! The island sits off the coast of Mu Ko Phetra National Park and 34 kilometers west of Ko Tarutao island. To the north lies Koh Adang and to the northwest Ko Ra Wi.

The trip by vehicle from Patong Beach to the Satun coast is about 404 kilometers. It takes about seven hours of driving to reach it. Then, you can jump on a speedboat!

Would you like to travel by sea? There is a ferry that leaves Phuket every day at 6:30, arriving at 16:30! However, the ferry solely operates between November 1st and April 30th, as the sea is to rough on other months.
