While most tourists opt for sightseeing at one of the many viewpoints or relaxing on the beach catching those tropical rays, there is still that small group of daring visitors who prefer something a little more exhilarating. Established in 2012, this adrenaline pumping tourist spot was the first of its kind to hit our beautiful island. Boasting one of the world’s longest zorbing tracks, measuring an impressive 190 meters, Rollerball Zorbing offers two unique tracks to choose from. The first is a straight shot down the steep luscious mountain side, allowing guests to gain speed as they hurtled towards the landing. The second is a curvy winding path that bumps and jostles the daring riders as they hoot and holler with excitement.

Located in the rolling mountain hills of Kalim, the grounds are composed of two bamboo-thatch huts set upon the departure platform. The first hut doubles as the main office, changing room and refreshment bar where customers can order a variety of cold beverages and snacks. The second hut is an open aired seating area composed of three tables with benches where guests can sit and watch all the fun unfold.

The zorbing balls themselves measure approximately three meters in diameter and are double sectioned with two spheres in one separated by an air layer. The first, or inner ball, is hollow and is where you stand along with 40 litres of water to help you stay upright while you roll. The second ball is the outer ball which is held to the first one by multiple nylon strings, its main purpose being to help absorb some of the harsher bumps and bangs as you hurtle towards the bottom of the hill. Because the balls are filled with water, proper swimming attire is recommended.
