Kruvit Raft

Located just across the bay from the Koh Yao Pier, sits this unusual seafood restaurant that is nestled among other restaurants that are perched upon an enormous floating raft.

Aside from its unusual location and design, Kruvit Raft is also famous for its unbelievably fresh and expertly prepared seafood. To ensure that they serve you the absolute freshest seafood possible, they keep their catches in nets that graciously hang between the rafts. The restaurant itself is nothing fancy, very similar to every other “Thai” restaurant, it boasts rows of long solid wood tables and benches with the same familiar napkin box and worn down cushions as you find anywhere else on the island. The floor area is well planned, allowing for plenty of space between tables, for a peaceful and enjoyable meal while the crude thatch roofs provide decent cover for the sun and light rain, however you may want to take an umbrella if the rain is heavier.
